Little Valley Family Fun Day & Dog Show 2023

After a 6 year hiatus the Little Valley Family Fun Day and Dog Show was back! Sunday 2nd July saw an unprecedented number of visitors which unfortunately lead to some issues with car parking and our dog show places sold out very early. Whilst this was very frustrating for us and disappointing for many who had trouble getting in, it was a very successful and fun day for the shelter.

On the day we managed to raise in excess of £5,000 for the shelter which is an amazing sum of money which will help so many more animals in need of our support. Following the event we asked for feedback from those that came and the data shows that we still have some things to address for next year, but on the whole, almost everyone who came had a great time and we also welcomed a high volume of new people to the shelter as well as familiar faces that we have not seen in a while. It was also great to see many of our rehomed dogs coming back and all looking amazing!

This amazing day was captured on camera by a brilliant volunteer photographer Benjamin Simpson. Ben gave up his whole day to photograph for us and you can see the stunning images in the gallery below in low resolution.
