Barney

Dear little Barney is 10 years old looking for a nice quiet foster home. He is such a sweet gentle boy who adores fuss from his favourite people. He can initially be a little shy with strangers at first, once he has warmed up to you he really is a loving boy who wants to be around you and enjoys lots of much needed attention. Barney is diabetic but he on a new medication that doesn’t involve injections, he is hoping this will not put off his new owners, the cat team are happy to go through this with his new family. We are looking for someone who lives fairly local as he will need to have check ups from our vet. He would love nothing more than a nice warm lap to cuddle up on or a warm sofa to spend his days. Barney would need to be the only pet in the home. He may be able to live with children of a secondary school age depending on the meet at the shelter. As Barney is over 10 years old, he qualifies for our Golden Oldies Veterinary Scheme where we can help financially with any age related veterinary costs.
