Betty is a beautiful, young 15kg bull-lurcher under 1 year old. She has not had the easiest start in life. Betty is a courageous young girl and has come so far here at the shelter.
She is confident and playful in familiar places, but when exploring new areas she can become shut down and nervous. She would benefit from structure and routine where initially she would only have short walks in a predictable environment.
Betty can live with other dogs that are sociable but calm to offer her reassurance and gently show her that the world isn’t such a scary place.
Betty cannot live with cats or small animals and she would be best suited in a home with older teenagers who can respect her need for space and approach her with patience and sensitivity.
