Minnie

Introducing Minnie, a spritely, loyal 8 year old Yorkshire terrier cross with a big heart and a few quirks. Minnie is a sweet soul who’s faced some challenges in her past, particularly around anxiety and meeting new people. However, once she builds trust, she forms deep, loving bonds and relies on her people when she’s feeling unsure.

Minnie has met several dogs here at the shelter and has been sociable and excited around dogs of all sizes. Because of this, we’d be happy to consider a home with another dog, pending successful introductions at the shelter and a few home visits.

She isn’t able to live with cats, and she does struggle with veterinary handling — gentle, positive sessions with a consistent vet would help her gain confidence and feel safe over time.
