Jack is a 10-month-old Springer Spaniel x Collie who’s had a bit of an unsettled start to life. Because of this, he’s still finding his feet when it comes to socialising and can be a little nervous around new people and other dogs.
Despite this, Jack is a bright, intelligent boy who’s already made great progress with the positive, reward-based training we use here at the shelter. He’s a fast learner and would really benefit from continuing this kind and consistent approach in his new home.
Jack would do well living with a calm, well-rounded dog who can help show him the ropes—but he would prefer a cat-free home. Any children in the household should be of secondary school age and have an understanding of how to interact with a nervous dog.
Jack is ready to find a home where he can finally feel safe, secure, and truly loved. If you think you could be the perfect match for this wonderful boy, please fill out our Perfect Match form today!
