Hi everyone, my name is Sox! I’m a smart, active, and determined 2-year-old Lab X, dreaming of being part of a fun-loving family to share my toys and adventures with.

During my time at the shelter, I’ve been working really hard on building my confidence and learning that strangers aren’t as scary as I once thought. I’ve also been fully muzzle trained and have made great progress in feeling more comfortable when seeing other dogs out and about. However, I still prefer to keep my distance, so I’d love quieter walks while I get used to my surroundings and bond with my new owner.

I’m looking for an experienced owner who understands dog-reactive dogs and will continue my positive reinforcement training. The dedicated team supporting me will continue to assist with my ongoing training even after I go home, ensuring I succeed in my new environment!

I’d love to be the only pet in the home, and if I were to live with children, I’d prefer sensible older teenagers who can understand my body language and help me feel comfortable (pending a meet at the shelter).
