From sponsored walks and bake sales to challenges, collections and regular gifts, our amazing supporters find all sorts of ways to help. Fundraising Manager Hayley Hukku shares how every effort, big or small, helps give animals in need a second chance.
Every animal that comes through our doors relies on the kindness and generosity of people who care. From providing food and veterinary treatment to ensuring safe, comfortable accommodation, fundraising plays a vital role in helping us give animals the second chance they deserve.
Throughout the year, our supporters take on challenges, hold events, organise collections and find creative ways to raise money for the animals in our care.
Whether it’s a sponsored walk with a four-legged friend, a bake sale, a marathon or simply making a regular donation, every contribution makes a real difference.
Fundraising is about more than money. It’s about bringing people together for a shared purpose and creating a community of animal lovers who want to improve the lives of vulnerable pets. The support we receive enables us to continue rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals across our region.
As costs continue to rise, community fundraising is more important than ever. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you. No idea is too big or too small, and we’re always on hand to provide support and inspiration.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through fundraising activities this year. Your dedication, enthusiasm and generosity help ensure that animals in need receive the care, compassion and second chances they deserve.
Together, we are transforming the lives of animals, one fundraising effort at a time.
A huge thank you to our fantastic fundraisers!
We’re incredibly lucky to have so many people finding their own special ways to support Little Valley. Here are just a few of the brilliant fundraising efforts we’ve seen recently.

Maia’s litter pick walk
A huge well done and thank you to Maia, who organised a fundraising litter pick walk in memory of her cat, Marley.
Maia raised an amazing £375 for Little Valley – and even brought us cookies! Thank you, Maia!

Molly’s plant sale
Molly grew and sold plants at a local market in Tiverton to raise funds for Little Valley, raising a fantastic £710, plus an additional £90 in Gift Aid!
Hayley is now also the proud owner of one of Molly’s spider plants, which is apparently living its best life in the RSPCA office!

Paul takes on Tough Mudder
Thank you and well done to our amazing adopter Paul!
After recently adopting a dog from Little Valley, Paul decided to support our work by taking on Tough Mudder South West, raising a brilliant £457.50.
Well done, Paul, and thank you for all your hard work!
