Little Valley Animal Shelter relies on our network of volunteers who work tirelessly to help us make life better for the animals in our care. Volunteering for Little Valley Animal Shelter is a great way to use your spare time to make a positive difference. Roles are available to support our charity shops, offices and shelter (both with our animals and helping on the grounds) and we’ll update this page with vacancies frequently.
Please Note: You must be 16 or over to volunteer at our shelter or shops. Please do not apply if you are under 16 as we won’t be able to take your application forward.
We have currently paused our intake of new shelter volunteers while we review our volunteer guidelines. Please keep checking back for more opportunities soon.
We welcome volunteers at our six charity shops to assist with various tasks such as sorting and pricing newly donated stock, managing merchandising, and providing customer service. Whether it’s manning stalls, setting up events, marshaling courses, or rewarding fundraisers, everyone is welcome to join, regardless of experience.
We’re seeking volunteers to support our expanding eBay store. If you have a knack for antiques and valuable items, join us in identifying and valuating donated goods. Your expertise will enhance our eBay listings. We also need retail-savvy volunteers for tasks like sorting, photographing, and packing items.
