Microchip, Spay & Neuter

Why microchip, spay and neuter?

Microchipping

At Little Valley we are firm advocates of all possible pets being microchipped as soon as they are old enough. Microchipping your pet gives them the best chance of being identified and returned to you if they become lost or stolen.

It is a legal requirement to microchip any dog over the age of eight weeks old in the UK, and keep the details on it’s microchip up to date.

Spay and neuter

We all love baby animals and find them irresistible. But given the levels of animals ending up in shelters across the UK right now, we believe encouraging new pet owners to spay and neuter their animals has never been more important.

Not only does spaying or neutering your pet decrease the numbers of unwanted animals born, but vets have proven a great many other health benefits.
