Thank you to the Stan Hacking Concert Band, with a special thank you to Ray Lloyd and Barry Parsons for their continued support of RSPCA Devon.
The concert, which we held on 8th March at Exeter Phoenix, was attended by nearly 100 people and featured music from movies suitable for all ages. It was beautiful to see a group of girls singing along to The Greatest Showman, to hear people singing Mary Poppins, and my personal favourite moment, as the band’s celebration of International Women’s Day, I “conducted” Ghostbusters (I didn’t know this was going to happen, so enter here my years of musical knowledge leaving my body).
As well as the brilliant concert, we were joined by Seren from Exwick Heights Primary School as part of her Civic Award, both volunteering and fundraising. Thank you for your help selling programmes and bucket collecting, Seren!
The Stan Hacking Concert raised over £1750 for RSPCA Devon. Thank you to everyone who has supported this great event!
