With her expertise in charity fundraising, Hayley’s ready to unlock new opportunities to support Little Valley’s animals.
I’m excited to be joining the Little Valley team and stepping into the role of Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. Having spent over a decade in the charity sector, I’ve seen the power of local communities coming together to create real, lasting change. That’s what drew me to Little Valley. The commitment to animal welfare here is inspiring, and I’m proud to be part of a team working hard to give every animal the second chance they deserve.
My focus will be on re-imagining fundraising at Little Valley to support the shelter’s essential work. Whether that’s upgrading our facilities, helping more animals in crisis, or backing major projects like our new Warren and Reception Hub, building a new fundraising strategy will provide the solid foundations we need to grow and improve. But having a plan is just one piece of the puzzle. I’ll also be working closely with the wider Little Valley team and our fundraising volunteers to build community links, explore new opportunities, and champion the role our supporters play in making all this possible.
Over the coming months, you’ll find us at events including the Devon County Show, Mid Devon Show, Honiton Show, and North Devon Show. If you’re visiting, do pop by, we’d love to say hello. We’re also inviting supporters to start or join Community Fundraising Groups in their local area. Whether you organise a coffee morning, a quiz night, or a local bucket collection, every bit of support helps animals in need.
Don’t forget to grab your tickets for our Grand Prize Draw, launching this spring with fantastic prizes to be won. All proceeds go directly to helping the animals in our care. And if you’re considering leaving a gift in your will, we’re always humbled by the lasting difference your legacy can have an extraordinary impact on our shelter’s future. Thank you for everything you do. I’m looking forward to working with you to make even more possible for Little Valley’s animals.
