Barney

Barney is a 14 year old staffie who came to us a few months ago when his doting owner very sadly passed away. He found his way into the hearts of everyone at the Shelter very quickly, and spent the few weeks we had him being fussed over by any staff who passed him in our reception area.

We were concerned his age might make him tricky to rehome so were so happy to find Rebecca and James, who didn’t think twice about giving him a fun-filled retirement. Since he went home with them last month, Barney has been living life to its absolute fullest! He loves everyone and everything – food, attention, people, dogs and cats!

He’s certainly not letting his older years slow him down and has enjoyed trips to Charmouth and a surprise introduction to James’ family.

What a lucky boy Barney is! A huge thanks to James and Rebecca for giving him such a perfect home.
