Become a Community Champion!

Imagine a Devon where every town and village has a group of passionate, animal-loving people coming together to raise funds, run fun events, and support their local RSPCA. That’s the vision behind our brand new Little Valley Community Champions initiative — and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

What is a Community Champion?

We’re looking for people from all over Devon to step forward as local heroes — Community Champions who can rally support in their area. Whether you’re a born organiser, a keen baker, a fundraising whizz, or just someone who wants to help animals while having fun, we want to hear from you!

You could:

  • Host a regular coffee morning
at your local hall or church
  • Organise a bucket collection at your supermarket or garden centre
  • Hold raffles, tombolas, bake sales
    or tabletop sales
  • Run small community events with friends and neighbours

No experience is necessary — just enthusiasm and a love for animals.

The Power of Community – Our Exmouth Community Champions

One shining example of what’s possible is our brilliant Exmouth Community Champions. This small but mighty team run monthly coffee mornings at their local church, raising around £200 each time. This group are so passionate that they also help in our Budleigh Salterton shop!

From tabletop sales and bucket collections to raffles and tombolas, they’ve shown how a small group of friends can make a big difference. More importantly, they’ve built a supportive, social community that brings people together — and all while helping animals in need.

Just imagine if we had a group like this in every town across Devon…
